With a spectacular showcase of more than half a million tulips and more than 100 different varieties on display, the Tesselaar Tulip Festival in the Dandenongs is a feast for the eyes.
An hour’s drive from Melbourne through the Mt Dandenong forest, the festival, now in it’s 60th year, is held on a working farm and is a spellbinding display of colour and beauty.
There’s live entertainment, market stalls and sculptors from across Australia exhibiting their works, and of course you can pick your own tulips.
With a food, wine & jazz weekend, children’s days, and an Irish weekend, there’s something for everybody.
