What happens when three food and drink businesses united by their desire to provide busy Melburnians nutritious, delicious, and affordable food collaborate under the one roof? Envy from the rest of the city, wishing they had this Like Minded Project at their doorstep.
The new Smith Street cafe is intent on offering food that not only tastes as good as it looks, but nurtures our bodies too, with most food options being gluten, dairy and refined sugar free.
Whole food kitchen Fred Gets, coffee roasters Coffee Supreme, and Ace desserts are the brains behind Like Minded Projects, with each providing the best of the best.
The “Fred Gets” counter offers nutritious breakfast selections such as bircher muesli with a selection of toppings, fruit salads, Coyo and chia puddings, and Finn Cold Pressed Juices.
There are options aplenty come lunch time, with brown rice paper rolls with walnut pesto, falafels, corn fritters, and five daily salads with house made dressings, to name but a few.
What meal is complete without a sweet treat? The appropriately named “Ace” counter will have you walking away away feeling ace with some guilt free indulgence in your hot little hands.
Milk and cookies are a match made in heaven. Testament to this is the home made salted caramel, peanut butter and jelly, triple chocolate and apple pie cookies teamed with a selection of chai, espresso or choc-mint homemade nut milks.
As you can see, there are more than enough reasons to give this Like Minded Project a go.
